Rock n' Roll Racing: at Galactic Autoparts, official sponsor, Nester and a chrome-plated rival fight over the blue-light special on Bear Claw Mines in aisle three and a two-for-one coupon on Turtle Wax. Shopping carts collide, ka-boom, and the rival explains his strategy — let the others take the early lead and blow each other up with missiles, then get out in front and drop mines. What was the Turtle Wax for? To win, you've got to have a great finish.
Star Fox

Benimaru Itoh's serial ran alongside the game, with the Arwing pilots as the magazine drew them: Fox, Falco, Peppy and Slippy against Andross, with a subplot the game never had.
Chapter nine. In the ruins of the Venom base, Herbert plays Andross's final recording: extract the DNA from the hair sample and combine it with the psycho-print, and the cloning process begins — 'now that there are two of me, nothing can stop us'. On Papetoon the Star Fox team comes home to a parade and a ballad about Fox McCloud and his band of merry animals, the old rebel hideout and Fara, who could be the twin of Fox's late mother. Slippy can't stop worrying about the pig they left behind.
