Mega Man 5, Equinox, Shanghai II and Sonic Blast Man filled the features. A Mega Man Robot Contest gathered readers' character designs for Capcom.

Second prize was an authentic Sharks jersey with your name printed on the back along with Electronic Arts' NHLPA Hockey '93, and the trivia question asked whether Samus Aran is a man or a woman.

A single story pitting the two rivals against each other, drawn in the style of the Mario Adventures serial.
A letter arrives from Wario, whom Mario hasn't seen since their school days almost twenty years ago, and Mario sets off happily to visit an old friend. Wario, meanwhile, has been nursing every grudge: the turnips Mario picked while leaving him the Piranha flowers, the coins Mario flattened him for, and 1,256 games of cowboys in which Mario was sheriff 1,255 times. The road to Wario's castle is a gauntlet of Piranha-filled pipes, the Three Little Pigheads and an octopus with no business in fresh water, and when Mario finally arrives — 'you've gained a little weight there, Wario' — his host reaches for the sky, cowboy style.
Nester's Adventures

Nester carried on alone after Howard left Nintendo in 1991, walking into one game a month and finding out the hard way that reading the strategy pages would have helped.
Desert Strike, where the success of the mission depends on Nester and his co-pilot and the general wants at least four MIAs picked up before any shooting starts. Nester loses his second chopper of the week — one looks like bad luck, two like a Medal of Honor and the cover of Time — and hears the order as dinner at eight, then hors d'oeuvres. War is hell, or more like a food fight.
