The winner and a guest flew to Hawaii for the 1993 NFL Pro Bowl with tickets included, a trip valued at $3,000. Fifteen second-prize winners got Super Play Action Football, and the winner, Jonathan Hoff of Hutchinson, Minnesota, stayed at the players' hotel and met some of them poolside.

Shotaro Ishinomori's retelling of the Super NES game, drawn in the same year it was released and following Link from the rainy night at the castle to the Dark World.
Chapter eleven. Roam's arrow takes Trinexx's middle head, and without it the monster's fire and ice mix violently — move it, hero — and Turtle Rock goes up. Roam says it proves the Book of Mudora's prophecy that only the enchanted arrow can defeat the one who corrupted this world, and rides off to find the Silver Arrows and defeat Ganon himself; Link was doing fine with the Master Sword before he showed up. The maiden's power opens the way, Link and Zelda step into the pitch dark of Ganon's tower, and at its top Roam lies fallen before a pig-faced giant wreathed in blue flame: Ganon.

Charlie Nozawa's twelve-part comic, in which Bowser proposes to the Princess, Yoshi eats everything in reach and Luigi gets no respect. Collected in a book by Viz the following year.
Chapter eleven. A huge crowd has gathered at Bowser's castle for the wedding of the King and the reluctant Princess Toadstool, and Friendly Floyd is selling cameras to the crowd. The brothers arrive through a pipe plumbed all the way to the castle and find the Princess in the bride's chamber declaring she worships Bowser — the hypnotist has got to her. The ceremony reaches 'speak now or forever hold your peace'.
Nester's Adventures

Nester carried on alone after Howard left Nintendo in 1991, walking into one game a month and finding out the hard way that reading the strategy pages would have helped.
Abducted by video-game-loving aliens, Nester takes the controls of their saucer over a city to blast the alien dweebs sideways, reasoning that all control panels are the same and the trick is to find the one unmarked button that obliterates the planet and not push it. The white buttons are the worst — disintegrators, disrupter beams, nuclear doorbells — and the one he does push ejects the whole crew into a hot tub. Now he sees what the aliens meant by being in hot water.
