The first numbered Strategy Guide, a whole issue on Super Mario Bros. 3 with all eight worlds mapped and a data box for every item. Subscribers got it as their June issue between Volumes 12 and 14. Nintendo of America called it the most successful guide it ever printed.
SMB3 was the most successful video game in history. The SMB3 Strategy Guide was the most successful Guide. Go figure.
