Mega Man X2 took the cover, with Kirby's Dream Course, The Lion King part two, Wolverine and seaQuest DSV inside. A Donkey Kong Land preview showed what ACM rendering could do on Game Boy, and Pak Watch had an exclusive first look at Star Fox 2. Player's Pulse announced the Epic Center for role-playing games would debut next month.

Mega Man X is powered up with a new chip while his enemies just have a chip on their shoulders.

Sweepstakes

The winner and a guest flew to Orlando to be extras on seaQuest DSV, with Nintendo reserving a $5,000 cash award if the production schedule didn't cooperate. Second prize was a complete set of Monogram seaQuest models with THQ's game, and winner Seth Montgomery of Topeka spent his day on set dressed as an undersea farmer, plucking oranges.
